I've dug through my UFO pile and tackled the Sampler of Psalms quilt I
started a number of years ago. But, now I'm stymied again: to border or not
to border or how many to border...you get the picture?

The picture is at "Kim's Design Wall"
http://wordinpatchwork.wordpress.com
Options I'm thinking about:
thin gold border, wider blue border, gold binding
gold border and binding [no blue]
leave it as-is - the last border as shown is 2 1/2" white on white.
If I don't add any more borders, do I bind in white or gold?

No border, bind in gold. This beauty doesn't really call for 'more'. It
stands on its own. Magnificent creation, Kim. What a beauty. Polly

Thanks Polly! I almost made it into a "triptych" with the centre tree panel
hanging separately flanked by two panels of blocks. The only thing that
stopped me was the realization that I'd have to hand sew the binding on
three quilts instead of one! [How's that for a lazy woman's design choice?]
Now I'm looking at the photo and thinking 'hmm...should I go back to the
three panel idea?'

Nah. Done is good...done is good...done is good.

I'm going to annoy you now, and say that I love the idea of the
triptych.
Done may be good, but great is better than 'done for the moment' >g<
.

The triptych idea is good, if you intend to hang the three in a
church...but for home display or use, i agree w/the gold
binding...done is done.
