I didn't use the heavier fusible suggested in the pattern and it still
seems too stiff to me. But I guess less stiffness would mean
absolutely no shape when stuff is put into the bag. Awkward
construction with all that stiffness. I need to make one more for the
other store and may go to a lighter interfacing. I believe the fabric
is a Valerie Wells.

You're not the first person I've heard say that about that pattern. My
friend who made one for our local quilt shop thought it was too stiff too.
And just too big, IIRC. Give us a report on the lighter one.

Joan, it's no surprise at all that you did such a lovely job on that
bag! What does the inside look like?
