I am working on a Baby Quilt just random squares of flannel. It will be 4"
blocks of 4 different prints of pinks. There is 10 squares across and 12
rows down. Since I had my gall bladder out on Thursday. I do about a row or
2 a day. I am going to put a satin binding around it. I've desided to post
opone my shoulder operation until April to give my body some time to rest
up. I 'm doing good from this operation. I just have thre little holes up
by where your gall bladder would be and one by my belly button. It's not
keeping me from sewing. I finished the hug block . I just have to get it in
the mail. I'm a tough person nothing keeps me down for long. Thanks for all
the good wishes. The hardest thing is trying to keep my cats from jumping on
my belly, especially when I'm sleeping. I will have to take a picture of the
baby quilt when I finish it. I am going to try my hand for the first time at
machine quilting it myself.

Well done! Don't overdo. My DD2 had hers out, ignored some of the less
convenient medical advice, and her belly button hole got infected. IMO you
are wise to wait a bit with the shoulder!

Dear She, hope you heal quickly. And I hope you find yourself just
loving machine quilting on that baby quilt. I can't wait to see a
photo of it.
