IT does seem like they could have picked some different numbers !
I have a Bernina 930 mechanical and it works like a charm. Sometimes
I've wondered how machines are named...Pfaff went from 1475 to I think
7550...then 7570 and then back down I believe. Usually products
are named by how the name would appeal to the public so that they
will buy, but apparently the numbers assigned to sewing machines aren't ?
