Yes, I am still alive. No I have not done much in the way of quilting.
I am a full time student and at my age, UGHHHHH! Thought I been there
done that eons ago. I did make a rag quilt. My best friend's mother was
a quilter who made quilts for each of my kids when they were born. My
gf's niece is pregnant with kidlet #2 after 8 years. Mom passed away
about 5 years ago, so obviously is not making a quilt for this baby, so
I made it! Never made a rag quilt before, but I sure loved doing it!
I had to drop one class after only a few days as I am running on burned
out. I do my student teaching and make up the one class next semester
and then hopefully I can say I am employed!
Have not been able to keep up much with the boards, what is with the
increase in spam. I notice one person has been spamming us badly all week.
Kids are fine. Not sure yet if I will have to move again in December.
Depends on what the landlord wants to do with the rent. If he raises it
too much he is an idiot. He has a tenant who pays on time, never bothers
him and should it have to sit empty for any length of time, all monies
due will come from his pocket and not that of a tenant.
I will try to check back again soon.

Good to hear from you Debbi.
Glad the children are doing OK.
You'll soon get through all this over-work (well, soon is always
relative!).

Hi Debbi! So glad you checked in. Whew, with your college schedule,
I'm surprised you had time to make the rag quilt, but I know the
intended recipient will love it.
Congrats on being down to just one semester!
And you're right, the landlord would be an idiot to raise the rent now.
Here's hoping he's not!
Best regards,
