I finally got this recipe from Mom. I know Kate that it doesn't help you
any, but you still might be interested in it for the future. It is totally
decadent and totally bad for you and practically makes your teeth hurt when
you eat it, but it is so good. Ejnoy

Texas Sheet Cake

2 sticks butter
5 T cocoa
1 C water
2 C flour
2 C sugar
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1/2 C sour cream

Melot in heavy saucepan butter, cocoa and water, bring to boil.
Mis in separate bowl, flour, sugar, soda and salt.
Pour hot mix over dry, stir and add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
Pour into foil-lined greased sheet cake pan 16 x 11 x 1. We've done it
without the foil.

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350. While baking make frosting.

Frosting

1 stick butter
5 T cocoa
6 T milk
1 box confectioners sugar
1 t vanilla

Melt together to simmer, remove from stove and add sugar and vanilla.
Spread frosting over warm cake.
Sprinkle with 1 C chopped nuts.

I just made one similar to this a week ago. We shared some of it but
not enough and I didn't freeze any, so now I need to throw some away.
It was very good though.
