A good friend of mine knew I'd admired her miniature TATW some months
ago. She surprised me just after my birthday with a little "kit" with
beautiful batik strips cut and ready for me to piece together for my own
TATW. I pieced it and then set it aside for a little while to "age"
before selecting borders and quilting. ;) Now it's finished. I've posted
photos at

you'd like to see it. I think my friend did a gorgeous job of selecting
colors! :)

Here we go again. I love the minis but I want to come get up real close and
'awwwww' for a long time. That's just a wonderful TATW. Why don't you send
it to me so I can admire it to my heart's content? Polly

LOL! Thanks, Polly, but I'm a bit nervous sending it to a place
inhabited by gators. Why don't you come here instead? :)

That is a good friend! What a nice idea to put together a kit.

Your quilting is lovely. Someday I will be brave enough to attempt
feathers.

Thanks, Marcella! :) Feathers are my favorite, and they're lots easier
than they seem at first. Come on over and I'll prove it. ;)
