Just put a few pins in -- ends and two or three down the side -- do a
couple -- you'll see pretty quickly if they aren't feeding evenly. Try both
ways... That's where I would start anyhow!

Hi Pat! It's great to see you here! :) If I'm correct in assuming that
the green is a bit flimsier than the blue, I'd put the green next to the
feed dogs. I'm working on the theory that the flimsier fabric will
stretch more and that the feed dogs will help to control that. Good luck!

Amy!
I haven't really 'been' away ... except for a week in FL last month ... I've
just been busy with work, organization, and such.
Update: we put the top together on Thursday. I went ahead and used Pfilomina
Pfaff for both the speed and the dual feed. Of course she pieced like a
dream. The quilt top went together nicely and is at the long arm quilter
now. We put together a second top this month, a double four patch that has a
bold rather manly look. That one is at a different LAQ. We are fortunate to
have quite a few LAQ who graciously and generously do numerous QOV for the
guild.

Pat, I'm so glad it went together so well and that it will be able to
let some serviceman/woman know that someone cares. :)
