Hi all,

Okay the one full of questions and no answers still has yet another
question. I promise not to ask anymore tonight...LOL!!!

Do you have swaps here? If so what kind? I remember quilt block swaps
where we would make a block or however many were needed so everyone
one in the swap would get your block with instructions as to how to
make it. Do you have that kind here or others? I noticed the Dora
Explorer one but not having young children I have no idea who or what
Dora Explorer is. My mothers nickname was Dora but believe me she was
no explorer. My mother is gone from sight but not from my memories.

Alright that's the last question until after midnight then it's a
whole new day...Oh I've signed up for a Moda U club at the closest
quilt store to me (50 miles one way) so maybe tomorrow I'll give you a
break from my neverending questions....NOT!!! I have no idea what to
expect tomorrow just to be there early to get up to speed seeing it
started in January. Anyone ever done one of these??? Okay that was my
last question.

Yes, we do have exchanges of various kinds, from time to time.
One person 'hosts' and those who want to join in.
I know Jessamy has hosted several - got any more coming up ?
You just have to watch out for the announcements made here.

Hey there Dorothy!

There is not a regular schedule of swaps here. However, there are
enough people here that pretty much any kind of swap would probably
work well. Over the years I have seen FQ, 5 inch square and block
swaps. And probably a few I have forgotten about...

It has also seemed that swaps are best done on a centralized basis,
where everything is sent to one person who actually exchanges things
and then sends them back out. Most people play nicely here but this
centralized approach does a better job of making sure that everyone
who participates gets something back. Sometimes the best of
intentions are thwarted by one of life's curve balls.

Did you have something in mind?
