While having a rummage in my blanket box for some scraps to try
stippling on, I found a HP panel. 34x44 inches.

I bought it when my GS was younger but he only wanted the cushions that
went with it. So I know I shall not use it now he is nearly 15.

It is like the one on ebay number 110053748173

Would anyone like to do a swap for some fabric, but please no purples.
I am in the UK.

I failed miserably at my first attempt at stippling. LOL

Howdy!

<VBG>

Don't need the swap, Shirley (that panel is in the stash somewhere)
but I'd like to know -- why "no purples. I am in the UK"?
Are purples outlawed there now? Only a certain number are allowed in
and that quota has been filled already? Purples go wild when they
enter the UK and the Special Forces in Charge of Purples are just
too danged busy to deal with any more? Purples must sit in quarantine for
6 months and you want fabric now? Is there a ban on all purples,
some purples, purples mixed w/ another color, batik purples,
solid purples, purples in fat quarters, 1/2 yard or 1/2 metre purples,
or cotton purples?
Or is it that you just don't like purples? Is that it, Shirley?
Got something against purples? Purples did something to you in the UK
that you don't want to talk about or be reminded of so that purples are
now outlawed from your UK stash..? C'mon, Shirley, tell us, what do you
have against purples? Huh? I don't mind, really, I prefer greens
(& keep giving away the purples), but I'm just wondering,
what's this about "no purples. I'm in the UK" ?
;-D

I don't stipple, altho' tipple-- now that's something else, isn't it?
But stippling doesn't mess w/ me so I leave it alone. Better luck
next time. ;-)

Cheers!

Sandy:
You crack me up!!! ROFL!
So, why won't you stipple? I had a book
with BEAUTIFUL HQ Stippling. Gorgeous. I
think it was a John Flynn book. Or maybe
it was in someone else's trapunto book??
Anyhow, it was flat out fantastic. HQ,
too. So, what do you have against
stippling??

Howdy!

Just don't care much for the jigsaw-puzzle look on my own quilts, thanks.
Don't care for the twisting & turning of the hoop to go in different
directions in such a small area. There's already enough things to
drive me crazy(er). YMMV ;-D

However, I'm going to try the quilting w/ ginger trick; am even thinking
of sprinkling a bit of ginger on the fried okra.
See, I'm open to new ideas. Just not stippling. :-D
