I have the 6600 and I purchased the bobbin holder and the non-hopping
quilting foot. I LOVE them. Really. I got both for under $50 and my
local shop. The tension is perfect so I haven't had to fiddle with the
needle or bobbin tension at all when quilting with Mettler 50 or 40 wt.
threads. No eyelashes. Wonderful!
I haven't tried the clear foot.

This sounds really interesting, especially after reading everyone's
comments. I'll have to check it out.
Thanks for posting!

Thanks everyone for your input on the FMQ bobbin holder for the Janome.
It sounds like it might be a good investment, I'll probably buy the new
foot too. I'm going to call my not so local Janome dealer, Bittersweet
Quilts in Boscawen, NH later this week and see if they carry it and the
price.
