Oh, I see. So is it really 'liberated piecing'?

LOL! Nor I! I'm much too straight-laced for that. <G>

I'm a picky girl too. However, a few years back I got a chance to take
a class with Gwen Marston on her book Liberated String Quilts. I had so
much fun! She is a delightful teacher and you can still match
intersections.

Isn't that just typical newb first attempts?

At guild show and tell a couple of years ago a gal held up
just about the worst quilt I have seen. She was a new quilter
and bragged about how she didn't measure or bother fussing
about being precise. She had no clue she needed to learn
anything about what she was doing.
It was embarrassing but she didn't even realize it. I am not
ridiculous about precision but seams that need to match should.
If you are too lazy to do that pick a pattern that doesn't require it.
Sheesh!
