Went to the opening day of the LB Quilt Show today. Unfortunately, in
the beginning it was not very well organized. We had to stand in line
for about an hour before we could get tickets because they did not have
enough ticket booths opened. When they finally got the booths opened,
they did not control the lines and those who came after the new lines
opened were not sent to the back of the line and cut in until tempers
started to rise. Finally, they got people out there to keep things
organized only to run out of tickets for the day.

Finally got in before they ran out of tickets. There were people and
people and people for as far as the eye could see. Over 500 vendors. I
got a Fab-U-Motion and a new ruler that has a guide to keep your strips
even and cut faster-- we will see how they work out.

The quilts were amazing. The Last Supper was there. It is truly an
amazing work of art. I have seen it on the internet in the past, but
online does no justice for this quilt at all.

I see why people say to plan to attend at least 2 of the days. We were
exhausted by the time we got back to the car, we left dragging. I would
have loved ot spend more time looking at the quilts.

All in all a very wonderful day!

I figure to leave the house here within the hour. I checked the
directions down, and have no clue which parking structure to use.
Right now I am off daily multi-vitamins, but will take my B Complex.
And take some water and snacks, it sounds like. Can't spend 2 days
there, will see as much as I can. Can't guaranteee any pictures.

Thanks for the report, Debbie!

Sorry there will not be anyone else from rctq there today when I go ;(

If you go back tomorrow, look for The Quilter's Inn - vendor. That is my
LQS in Danville & they have been working their tales off to get ready for
this show. I hope it ends up being worth it for them.

Also, if you get around to the Hoffman Challenge section, I would love a
