Hi girls,
Not sure if Rusty has checked in with a report on our meeting 2 weeks
ago as I have just returned from Melbourne (Oz).
Anyhow, I had previously had the pleasure of meeting Rusty three or
four years ago at Paducah (along with Musicmaker et al).
This month (Aug) Rusty was Down Under visiting her daughter and family
in Melbourne. My DH and self were in Melbourne celebrating our joint
birthday and a 90th birthday party for an aunt which turned into a
funeral (we won't go there....).
We met at the National Gallery of Victoria where there was a temporary
exhibition on Art Deco of the world. It was fabulous. DH came along
as well as Rusty's lovely daughter with lots of talk about art and
quilting. We found mutual friends with daughter and like interests.
It was so much fun; Rusty I immediately recognised with her wide
smile, wicked humor and a quilted jacket (of course).

It is soooo lovely to have you all as cyber friends and then have an
occasion to meet up some place. Thank you!

Hugs
Bronnie

Hi All, Just got home from that wonderful trip to see my DD and
grandkids--AND the meeting with Bronnie and her DH. I wasn't ready to
come home yet. It was so good to see that fantastic exhibition with
kindred spirits! I hope all of us get chances to meet up with our
cyber buddies more often, too (how 'bout houston in October?)(g). I
got to attend a Waverly Patchworkers guild meeting while there, and
have bunches of quilty pics to post--as soon as I pick up a reader for
this danged sdhd card I used instead of the regular sd one! rusty
(still trying to sort out my days and nights). rusty
