Oh, that's easy. I make a mean fruit cake. Got some in the fridge as we
speak fermenting in Brandy!

That wont fly--he doesn't drink or even 'eat' stuff like that....made rum
balls one Christmas--won't do that again...even with just the rum flavoring.
Like I said, it is a well tweaked recipe after 33 yrs of practice and
changes :)

I kept my mum's famous (top secret during her life time)
recipe for Southern Boiled Fruit Cake - but I haven't seen
it for a while. Not much into dried fruit in any form. It
had brandy, sherry AND Tia Maria in it as I recall!!

Now if it was refrigerated cheese cake you were after . . .
. . . . . . that I make REALLY well!


These days if I have to make a fruit cake I just use the
quick-and-easy method where you soak the fruit in either
coffee or OJ and then just mix and cook. Doesn't keep as
long as more complicated traditional recipes, but storage
has never been a problem 'cos there's never any left over.

Chocolate? You're gonna hafta do better than that....he isn't that easy.
