I managed to get to the monthly Quilting Museum group on Tuesday.
Last month was when they persuaded me to enter my Blue-and-white quilt
into the Cawood Craft Show, if you remember. Whilst I was there, I
mentioned that I had won the first prize. Melanie, the Education
Officer was really thrilled for me and told everyone who came in, to
the point I got really quite embarrassed.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, at the end of the session, she
asked me if I would bring it in for her to display on the wall of the
Education Room. And would I write a note to go with it?
So I have. This is an honour, I think. My quilt will be on the wall
in St Stephen's Hall, York, in the home of The Quilters' Guild.
I'm pleased with my little self, if a little overhelmed.

That's such great news Nel. What a triumphant come back into the
quilting fold. I'm really pleased for you. I hope they pass on the
super comments you will get.

That is FANTASTIC Nel! You should absolutely be pleased with yourself.
I'll tell you though, that is a beautiful quilt, and I'm really not
surprised that Melanie wants to display it. :-)
Woo-hoo!
