These fabrics were from her previous dressmaking days and are
definitely high-end selections. She had bought a lot of the silks
when she did exchange teaching in Thailand and she had also had many
outfits made for her during her time there...she described the process
of being measured and fitted by the Thai ladies as an experience. The
ladies were 'impressed' by the amount of fabric necessary to create
one outfit for Gill's size! jennellh
