Welcome to the group, Zimmy! (And what a fun, unusual name you have!) Do
you have photos of your quilts posted anywhere so we can see them?
You've covered the QI section of our usual questionnaire, but what about

chocolate? <G>
As for matching, I've found that using *really* fine pins can help; some
of the "regular" pins are so fat that there's really no chance of
getting accuracy. The pins I'm using now are called IBC silk pins,
marketed by Clotilde; I'm using some with old-fashioned metal heads, but
I think they're also available with glass heads (better than plastic, as
they don't melt when near an iron ;) ).

Hi Zimmy! I've been making quilts a few months now, so I'm new to quilting
and to RCTQ. This is a very friendly, knowledgable group, as you've already
seen. And your chocolate is safe with me :-)

Welcome to the group, Zimmy! You're right, this IS a friendly place.
:-) Do you have any pictures of your work?
Best regards,

Gee! You guys were right, I forgot about the chocolate, I really like
dark chocolate, love Molton Lava Cakes, M&M's plain and well, I love
it all with the exception of fruit flavors added to chocolate.
I also love coffee and an adult beverage or two.
I would reply to everyone but would be here for the rest of the
afternoon. You all confirmed my suspicions, you are a great bunch.
Zimmy
PS will bring M and M's next visit
