Polly, my dad always remembers that his mama cooked
up one of her chickens for birthdays. they mostly went
hungry as kids but he remembers her doing that.
My other g'ma made a heavy butter lemon nut cake for
any bd she was around for. It was divine. Your fancy
color cake sound pretty special. Nice to have those
memories.

Happy Birthday to your baby Larisa. It always seems that
kiddos grow so fast.
DD here turns 25 Sunday and she shares that bd with her
auntie that will turn 56. I guess it is bd season. DS here
doing things at work I can't even talk about and dd just
moved into the house she bought all on her own. Many
days I wonder what happenen to my little kiddos.
Hope you guys have a great clebratory weekend.

Mr Joe celebrates his 62nd on the 25. Neat reminder that it's 2 months til
Christmas. This year he will get flags for the flagpole. For the first time
in years--the flagpole is empty.
