Well, DGD is still not out of the woods, now has pneumonia and was in the
process of a blood transfusion tonight at our last update.
DD was pretty upset tonight as one of the doctors was quite blunt about the
fact that DGD was not out of danger yet, and there was no guarantee to what
the outcome would be.
Grampa and I knew this, but felt it was better for DD to stay positive and
upbeat both for herself and the coming baby, and DGD.
Thanks to all

Definitely keeping up the thoughts and prayers. Poor little soul, to
have to go through all this.
It must be awful for her Mum, and for you both, to have to stand by just
waiting while she fights.
Thank you so much for letting us know how things are going.

While there is life there is hope, and your DD may feel as I do that the
truth is kinder than tact or fiction in the long run.
Prayers continue here, for her, your DD and the rest of her little
family, and for you and Grampa. ((((((Marigold & Co))))))

I guess the dr's didn't want to sugar-coat the pill... I think I'd want
to know the odds too but I appreciate the fact that you want a positive
outlook for your DD given her circumstances.
Try and keep positive yourself, pneumonia these days is getting more
common, and hopefully therefore should be easier to treat, but I won't
pretend that I think its going to be a piece of cake... but she's come
this far and it sounds like she is a fighter.
Continued thoughts for you and yours from across the pond.
