hey Rita,
i'm here and i can help you with facebook.
just ignore any request that comes up.
as Allison said, go slow.
there are also settings on facebook that remove some things from your page
so you dont get into overload.
there is a real time chat thing that me or someone else on here you trust
can walk you thru some of the settings to make it less intimidating.
i like the instant 'see who is up to what' among my friends.
i dont respond to everyone of those msgs that show up.
just dont let it worry you.
losing a friendship certainly is not good but you could also strengthen some
on facebook.
it has its pros and cons like anything in this world.
email me a 'nzlstar at yahoo dot com' or i'm in the directory at my home
addy,
if you want more help privately.
hugz,
jeanne

Yeah, deleted all the "friends" for now. There were 123 of them!!!!!!!!!!!
Was getting physically ill because of this and starting to get annoyed with
friend who suggested Facebook. Loss of that friendship was just not worth
it. No one to help here.

feel free to add me if it suits you.
just do a search for nzlstar and should find me...fwiw.
there is also the rctq group on there tho its not so busy.
i guess one has to pick and choose to their own likes.
i'm still trying to figure out all those privacy settings too.
its easier than making phone calls across the nation or the world and its
free too.

I'm with you Rita. Sorry, but to me it's just a lot of nonsense. If people
want to "talk" use email, or God forbid, a real phone! I won't waste my
time hooking up to that darn thing. Some of us have a life away from the
computer.
