This probably isn't the place to ask this ... but I was wondering ... do any
of you know a wonderful lady named "Pat Foster?" She would have come from
Maryland ... oh 'bout six years ago. And knowin' her, she's still quilting,
embroidering, smockin' and sewin'. In fact, I really can't picture her doin'
anything that doesn't involve fabric or thread. :-)
I've tried searching for her all over and can't find her. She was one of my
best friends and we kept in touch for a while (after I moved, and then she
moved about a year later) but we've lost each other. Probably two addresses
ago with me, I don't know how many with her (last I heard, she was in
Kentucky, but could be in Indiana - my geography is only slightly worse than
my memory - and that's BAD!).
Anyway, I really miss her somethin' awful and would love to know how she is
... I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out that she's in one of ya'll RL
guilds ... probably heading up (or supporting) some sort of wonderful
community project (she did Infant Demise Quilts for a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time and
has made her share of "ugly quilts"). Her hubby's name is Gary and her
daughter's name is Pat.
Please, anyone ... anyone know of her???
Again, I'm sorry if my topic is inappropriate ... or too off topic for here.
I'm just desperate to find her!!
Quilty hugs!!
Connie :-)

After Katrina, our quilter Georg rescued a wounded Tom cat from New Orleans.
Georg lives wa-a-a-a-y north of New Orleans but managed to make Tom very
happy with the loving care they blessed him with. Georg, where are you?

Thank you, Kate!!! :-) You found names/places I hadn't! I'm going to go
check them out!! PA's perfect - she spent most of her life there. And IN,
I'm pretty sure that she either lived there at one time or moved there later
...
La Plata is where we met actually ... I moved here to FL about 6 years ago,
and then she moved about a year after I moved.
I probably should have mentioned that she'd be in her early sixties (though
last I saw her, she didn't look a day past 40 - her sweetness obviously kept
her young-lookin'!) now ...
Again, thank you so much, Kate!! You given me REAL hope!! :-)
You're my quilty angel!! :-)
