Have you heard what happened at Ft. Hood, Texas? We don't do politics
in this group, thank goodness! But we do prayers. The people of Ft.
Hood, Texas need prayers right now. It's a close-knit community, one
that's close to my heart, and they must be confused and badly hurt by
what happened today. Any good thoughts you have to send those folks
there I'm sure would be welcomed.

One of our Sped Teachers daughters is posted there. She quickly got a call
through to her Dad this afternoon at school and is okay. Line was going
fuzzy though as part of the lockdown also meant the phone lines. He hasn't
heard from her since but will later. They all need our hugs though.

What a tragedy for those families to go through...prayers for all are
definitely going up! Donna

Yes, I read about it a few hours after it happened, and my heart goes out to
all the members of the families and of the community affected, and to all
the service members who are deployed from such installations. This must
raise the level of fear they feel even before going overseas. Surely they
deserve some sense of sanctuary there in their home base.

One would hope... They are war victims as much as their comrades killed
on active duty.
