I worked as a Government employee at Ft. Hood for 30 years and retired in
2004. I was there when the Luby's incident occurred and that memory is
still fresh. Now this. It's so gut wrenching because it was done by a
military member. Somehow being on a military post is one of the safest
feelings in the world, but now that feeling of security has been destroyed.
I can't imagine how this will affect all those who work there. My prayers
are with them as well as the victims and their families.
