The little Skeeter arrived today at 12:11. 7 lbs. 6 oz., 19.5 inches
long.
I am sick with strep and couldn't go. But thanks to cell phones I got
to
keep up very well. I am expecting a photo any minute now.
DD called me *herself* at 12:30 and said "Can ya hear him?" And I
could
hear him squalling away. So I got to *hear* him when he was only 15
minutes old.
I'm telling you, it is absolute torture not to take off and drag
myself up there,
sick or not. If it wasn't for being contagious and I might make other
people
sick, I'd go anyway.

Congratulations Grandma! It's great to hear them cry, but even better when
you get to cuddle them -- sorry you don't get to do that yet, but it'll
happen soon!
