Here is a gift I made for my wife for our 37th wedding anniversary.
Well maybe not exactly. She is involved in a Gag Fashion Show as a
participant, and her costume involves a Tool patterned fabric skirt,
which I made. IE; A Tulle Skirt. A turtle pattern cloth neck wrap,
with a toy turtle as a brooch. IE; A "Turtle Neck Sweater", and a
leather belt with various tool pouches and tools hanging off of it,
IE; A "Hand Tooled Belt". I could go on and on, but the crowning bit
of silliness is the link below. It is A "14 gold Carrot Pin". This
will be the item that pushes the whole thing over the top. Of course,
there will be the appropriate dialog attending the runway
presentation, with with myself as the Famous Designer, Mr. John, of
Fredericktown. I don't know how I get myself dragged into these
things, but they usually turn out to be a lot of fun, and everybody
gets to camp it up. The fact that the 14 Carrots of the Pin are made
of Batting Stuffed Fabric (Quilting?) and might qualify it as not OT.
Whatever. I hope you enjoy the Pun of this whole idea, and keep me in
your prayers for a return to sanity, after my stint, as, the famous
designer, Mr. John of Fredericktown.

Some of the things these women are doing are over the top. There is
one Gal who created a "New Spring dress" which has about 50 different
springs sewn onto and attached to it. That is the kind of thing that I
am dealing with here. This is what you do in small towns all across
America, when there is a dead spot in the otherwise scintillating pace
of the whirlwind activity schedule here. Or not! A full report will be
forthcoming, along with pictures to lay bare, all the sordid details.
Sigh!
