Thank you, Sherry, for bravely showing Yoda real love by letting him go
gently. That's the hardest part of all. So sorry. Sending hugs, Polly

Your decision was the greatest gift you could give to show him your
love.
How lucky you both were to have each other.

Hi Sherry,
It's been a few months for us now, though at times it seems like just
yesterday.
We've been able to move on (or keep going), but the transition is...
very strange.
We've lost each one in a different manner. Sadie (border collie) went
like Yoda; expected and prepared for (as much as anyone can be) from
old age. I think most of the group feels connected at times like
this.

Every cat? No, every pet - perhaps every sentient creature.
Humans should be so fortunate.

Sherry,
Soooo sorry. I feel your pain particularly acutely as we just had to
put down our beloved Nugget last week. He was our 12 year old
chocolate lab that we have had since birth. I just picked up his
ashes yesterday. Sewing/quilting has been very theraputic for me
these last few days as the house is entirely too quiet now. Hopefully
it will become that for you as well.
