Hey again. Anybody know how long it takes to get from London to Aberdeen,
Scotland on the tube or train?

Just guessing but it would depend on how many stops you make along the way.

<s> Maybe you should try googling maps or call a travel bureau.

I figured it out - it's like 8 hours or so. I'm thinking of getting a night
train to sleep on the way and on the way back, so as not to waste time. :)

Try this journey planner, it lets you mix the methods of transport and shows
the routes taken

I have done this - I used to live in St Andrews. Whereas it is true you
will not waste as much time travelling, expect to not get a solid nights
sleep. The sleeper is not too uncomfortable, but it is not like a hotel
either :-) However, it also does not cost the price of a hotel room + a
train ticket, so it is generally cheaper than staying at one end and
travelling by day.
Like someone else said, you might also look at flying.
