I know, i go for long periods without checking in, don't I? For those
of you who know me well, know that I spend a lot of time on Facebook,
even though I do still read/lurk here, and I've been VERY busy lately.
In fact, so busy, I haven't had much time to sew since June. Truth is,
we are just getting moved in to the new house we just purchased (our
very first one) and it's just a little crazy right now. Internet is in
the process of being hooked up...hopefully by Friday. In the meantime,
I'll check my email and such at WiFi hot spots, but only every other
day, so...
If you want an updated address, you'll need to email me, and I'll send
it to you. I am on the 'directory', and will make sure to update my
information when that time comes, too.
So...for now, it's back to unpacking and sorting through fabric...on my
way to getting back to quilting, now that the weather is getting
colder!! By the way, we bought the house from a quilter. I thought
that was a really good sign.

Welcome back, Jenn! Enjoy that new house -- yes, a very good sign that

it belonged to another quilter before you. <G>

just glad you're into YOUR new home and getting things unpacked so you'll
really feel at home.
is there a train station nearby?
is there a bus route nearby?
how far to the nearest LQS?
how far to Joanns (yes we buy some things there when they have coupons and
good sales)?
how far to the place we got Raspberry Lemonade? (i forget the name, oh well)
i guess that is all the important questions i can think of now.
oh, thanks for having a big back lawn for a tent.
buying from another quilter is a very good sign indeed.
welcome home!!!!!

Yes, there is a train station nearby...in Tacoma, which is only 4 more
miles away than it was before. The nearest bus stop is three blocks
away. Not sure where the nearest LQS is, but considering I'm downtown
three times a week, and there's one about a mile from the ballet school,
i'm good on that issue. Jo Ann's is about the same distance as it was
before. Best part now is that I'm closer to Shipwreck Beads....
Hm, raspberry lemonade...I don't even remember.

hmmmmm, that 2005 trip has some blurry bits in it.
maybe the raspberry lemonade i got in Michigan.
its a place like subway but different name, similar tho, i think....
anyhow they had great raspberry lemonade.
i guess it is makeable with the right ingredients tho.
train station is too far to walk but a bus from train station ought to work
out ok.
uh oh, not the bead shop, you're gonna have to control your impulses some,
eh.

<snorfle>
so how long til this moving stuff is all over and done with then?
we're waiting for more pix of the new house and wanna hear what plans you've
got for it at this point in time. i'm sure those plans will change some as
you get some time living in the house.
thats usually what happens.
