I know that feeling - the one you get in the pit of your stomach when you
can't find one of your babies. My guess is he's "sleeping it off" somewhere
where he can't be disturbed. Mine find different spots all the time - it's
always an adventure (and a surprise) when I go looking for them. I'm sure
he's fine, but I'm sending good stuff your way in hopes that you find him
very soon.

Add to that that it's not uncommon to get a reaction of "ooh, food, ick" at
this stage----if eating doesn't sound like a good thing to him, he's not
likely to come out at the sound of dinner......
--pig, sending hugs to you and warm fuzzies to Cheeto.....

He might just be upset from his trip to the Dr. And even though you think
you know all the tricks and hiding places, you may not. When Katie had her
broken leg she disappeared for hours. We searched the entire building
several times and to this day, I still don't know where she crawled to hide.

My Mickey was a great hider, finally found him sleeping on the wiring
nest behind the stereo system, also found him inside the pipe organ in
the loft. I was sure he had escaped to the great outdoors and gotten
lost. Accused room mate of letting the slider open to the deck, etc.
Pinkee only disappears when she sees her crate and knows that a trip
to the groomer is about happen. She has never been outside.
I hope that Cheeto shows up soon, perhaps he's off recovering from his
snipping, not to be confused with grooming.
