Polly, did you ever get rid of your spiders? Just wanted to say that mine
seemed to like Irish Spring. And I was just getting used to the smell! I
found another one of the little ones a few minutes ago. I think I will try
Lemon Pledge today after I go to the store.

Val's suggestion of Lemon Pledge seems to be working quite well. I waxed
the window sill and facing where they wanted to homestead and haven't seen
any spiders or festive decorations. Plain old rubbing alcohol removes Lemon
Pledge from windows. A whop with a houseshoe is faster.
And furthermore, the ants must have passed the word around. None have
sought shelter inside since I put a few bay leaves in their path.
The next question - what do you do with a whiney DH? Mine wants to go
outside and paint the front door. It is raining. It is going to be raining
for the next 2 months. I guess I could bring the door inside. Other than
that? Polly

If your DH REALLY wants to paint he is welcome to come to my house for at
least a week.!. He could paint doors, walls, just about anything he wants
to paint. We haven't had rain in ages, and I have an extra bedroom. Just
when would you want him back? I gotta go get some Lemon Pledge!

Send that man here Polly. We have no rain in sight. I have several
doors he is welcome to paint. Sometimes dh's just get whiney. Seems to
be the nature of the beast. lol

Did you by any chance see the note in dr. gott this morning about the
lead in dishes and quilts? What do you suppose that letter writer
was thinking about?

Yes, I just saw Dr. Gott. Putting lead in quilts is a puzzle; can't figure
out how to do it. Polly
