I was out of town, but scanning the local paper online when I read
about the father of one of my students. He was killed by a drunk
driver this weekend. There are three small children. These children
are the nicest, sweetest little things.The little girl was so looking
forward to her first trip to Disney, which was supposed to have been
yesterday. My heart is breaking!

She's sort of OK. The butterfly bandage is still on her nose because
when they removed it the bleeding started again. Her face is all
purple and she's feeling rather depressed. The worst thing is that she
has developed a terrible itchy rash. She saw a dermatologist who did
some biopsies on it today, but seems to think it's medicine related.
Now to find which of myriad of medications is causing it and what can
be substituted for it.
