This afternoon before the storm I had to bury 5 of Miss Lucy's
kittens. She had six. She let me pick up the only survivor. She
only leaves the kitten to feed or go outside. When she comes into the
living room while the kitten sleeps she just wants to be held. I feel
so sad for my little lady. She is about 7 years old so its time to
visit the vet so she won't have anymore. She's on the floor next to
my feet as I write this. She seems so lost.

So sorry, Kate. I was looking forward to tales of your home being overtaken
by a gang of baby kittens. Hugs to you and sweet-talk to Miss Lucy. Polly
