The Whittier quake in 1988 I was at work in downtown Los Angeles, the
Northridge quake in 1994 was on Martin Luther King Day, the Loma
Prieta up near Oakland in 1989 or 1990 I was at work in Los Angeles.
Those are the last 3 big ones, but not the only big ones I have been
here for.
Idiot wedding party, it was strongly suggested they leave, but the
manadatory evacuation didn't include their area. Today they had to
make five dangerous helicopter flights to get everyone out from that
party.
Weather report I heard says it will be cooler a few degrees tomorrow,
then much cooler on tuesday. Good thing. They will have the air
conditioning off in the courthouse tomorrow. Sigh.....
