So, here I go trundling off to Michaels Craft Store today. Last day of
their coupon, you know I just have to find something there! Dragged
along a jigsaw puzzle that I had done over 15 yrs ago that was in a
frame that needed some "freshening up". Several weeks ago I had
stopped by the framing dept and spoke to the manager there who said
she would help me and was interested to see the jigsaw puzzle. Up to
now it has been shielded by a layer of clear contact paper film.

Lo! and behold this gal Krista is there again today. She remembered
me, and so I bring in the framed puzzle. We work on it, and put in
glass using the same frame. In between I am giving out [almost
unsolicited] suggestions to a lady custom framing some prints. Gently
put, I am not shy about working with color, and showing how things
will muddy or brighten a piece.

Long story short, I walked out with an application to go to work part-
time in the framing department!! They are looking for a couple part-
timers and that is something I would enjoy doing. Won't get to meet as
many single guys doing that, but there is an employee discount.
Expecting a call Mon or Tues from store manager to set up for an
interview. It would be a nice contrast to my full-time job!

Oh, and we re-set the puzzle onto acid free mat board, under glass,
using my original frame. It looks really cool!

gee, guess I should go to the 12-Step program from the other post,
right?
