Recently, DH had a fine new set of tires put on my car. Monday morning, one
was quite flat. He took the tire back to the tire dealer (who is,
incidentally a family friend). It turns out that the tire mfr had
unknowingly received tire valves that were made in Ballahongawalla. They
'look' okay but are miserably defective.
So. If you have a new set of tires, you might ought to learn how to
check their pressure. Carrying your phone so you can call for help would
also be a good idea. I know 'how' to change a tire but there ain't no way I
could lift the spare out of the trunk.
