I dropped off the planet for a few months, and just had to delete over
10,000 messages. Life just got overwhelming with work, getting DD done with
the school year, and an eye injury that makes it difficult to work on the
computer for any length of time and makes me need to be in a dark-ish room.
Now that summer is here, I'm starting to catch up on things again. I missed
you all so much! But I'll be checking in here and there. I"m going back to
quilting this summer, too, because we've decided that having to drive DD to
school every day was eating up too much time, and we're homeschooling now.
Anyway....it's good to be back!

So good to see you again. We're glad your eye injury is healing nicely and
welcome you home.
I've never doubted that home-schooling would probably result in a better
education - but what do you do about things home-schooled children miss such
as getting along with all sorts of people, teamwork, and respect for
authority even when the authority is an idiot? That sort of thing? Polly
