We have a hostage situation in our area, a man with a gun holding two people
in a bank. This is following a high speed chase, which itself followed
robbing and tying up a family, shooting a deputy in the face, and
endangering many lives. Thankfully no one has been out and out killed just
yet. But the hostage situation has been going on for over three hours now.
Please, please send lots of prayer and good thoughts toward central IL. We
live in the cornfields, for pete's sake!

beginning soonest. We need them. And also, dh has to go right through
there to get home from work.
