Today I went to a big household supply store in the middle of town
(not the cheapest place to look, but I was there) and found NO cotton
cord. they did have 20 meters (smidgen over 60 feet) of 5mm nylon rope
for 13 euros (close to $20). I'll keep looking.

Great bowls Leslie! Yes, they are addicting - but they are sooo practical
