after watching some of a doco on tv yesterday found this site.

You would be less likely to need a quilt in Afar than any other

i thot those 3 guys at xmas came from there?
see they live in awash valley too.
i know zilch about it just recalling the carol.
tho i probly got that all wrong.
something in that must be relevent to something,
just not sure what.

LOL. I got it, Jeanne.
Coming in here late. I've been binding a quilt for my friend who
installed and removed and set up and all that tedium that comes with a new
computer for me. Lesson learned: if you agree to bind a quilt for a
friend, stitch it on yourself. I swear she must have been drunk out of her
mind and blindfolded to boot. HoooBoy, was that a hassle. It surely is a
beautiful quilt and Finished is wonderful. Polly
