Yes, to the right of the scores and such on your Home page, click the
hide button and you have the choice of hiding either the application or
the person. Just hide the application and you will not get scores or
other info on the game.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! It works. That little "Hide"
box only shows up for an instant and although I had seen it
occasionally (and didn't know why!) I didn't realize it could be used
to hide the application. What a relief!!!! It really works! :)

Mouse over the game message. A little box that says "Hide" will show up
on the right side. Click the "Hide" box. A little drop down menu will
give you the option to hide the person or hide the application (game).
Click on the option to hide the application and you won't see any more
reports of that game.

I've long had the same complaint as CaroleD -- my reaction has been to
ignore FB. Julia, I can see the "Hide" thing, but there's no drop-down
show/hide quoted text
menu, no matter what I do. <sigh> Back to ignoring FB. :S

Being a newbie myself, I can't answer your question--but it sounds like
I'll definitely be interested in the answer when you get it.
And yes, I had no problems locating you. :-)
