Sunday morning Grammy Kathy's Mom got tangled in the sheets, fell out of
bed, and broke her hip. Kathy's brother and his wife live with her and I
guess heard her fall. She was taken by ambulance and admitted. Monday
morning they did the surgery, complicated by COPD, emphysema, a touch of
pneumonia, and a weak heart. They had no other choice but to risk it, and
she came through it fine. Then Tuesday evening she took a turn for the
worse. They don't expect her to make it, but who knows the power of prayer
and good thoughts like we do? Pray for Grammy Kathy as she goes through
whatever is coming.
