My son went to the ER 2 nights ago - he had a picline delivering
around the clock antibiotics on his right arm but by Saturday night
the pain was pretty severe at the needle site and there was a red line
going up his bicep. Long story short - he had developed several
bloodclots in the veins and was admitted to the hospital. He has
suffered some unexplained symptoms that are like stroke symptoms,
though there is no way for a clot to get from a vein to the brain
unless there is a hole or malfunctioning valve in the heart, which
there doesn't appear to be after he had an eeg.

He's home now, on cumedin (sp?), and I'm hoping that you will pray for
the blood clots to dissolve without complications.

ps - this also delays the in vitro fertilization procedure they were
in the process of - so grandbabies are postponed. sigh.
