Thanks for the link.
The combination looks really useful. There are times when my oven is
too full and extra cooking space is just what I need. Just heating to
350 would work for me.
Hoping my microwave will give up the ghost soon so I will have an excuse
to go shopping,

I see it has a special potatoes facility. Wonder if it is like mine
where you put potatoes to bake on the special metal rack, press the
potatoes knob, dial in the weight and low and behold your baked potatoes
appear in about 15 minutes with a lovely browned skin. Perhaps not quite
as good as a conventional oven, but much much quicker and cheaper and
100% better than the just microwaved ones!

Allison:
Think about how a new appliance would be so much more energy efficient than
that old MW. You could save on your utility bill every month. SO, go ahead
and buy the new one now. Give the old one to a church yard sale or such.

We have a combination microwave-convection oven, it's not over the
stove with a fan, but it is a very convenient thing to have. Jim
bought ours after his wife passed away, I met him three years after
that and I've been here over 16 years. It is still going strong, he
bought it from Sears.
