....where my brain must have taken a vacation. I've been working on a
simple rail fence quilt in autumn colors and have the main body of the
quilt top finished. So far, so good. Today was my day to add the
borders and start on sandwiching it together. Borders, should be so
simple, right? Sewed one on backwards (what was I thinking), had to
piece another one, and what should have been a simple task, turned
into a workout with my seam ripper. Finally, I just walked away and
called it day. The dots are not connecting in my brain today...:

Smart move to walk away. I find that when I have one of those days, if I try
to keep at it, it just gets worse. Tomorrow will be better!

Our children have such keen wit - it's fun (and exhausting) just to sit back
and listen. Yesterday, one of them remarked, "Yep. The cheese just slid
off his cracker."
The other replied, "His blinker's been on a long time and he Finally
turned the corner."
Maybe one of those is what happened to you. LOL BTDT Polly
