G'day everyone
DH and I are having a grand time driving across the US, even tho I
injured my ankle in Yosemite! Two weeks later after hobbling around
on crutches, the Dr I saw in Rapid City SD today said it is healing
well and I can jettison the crutches and start walking. Whoo hooo!
I'll give a full update on the wonderful time we are having when we
have some time in NYC in a couple of weeks.
Meantime, we are very excited to be having dinner with Susan Price in
Chicago this next Wed. nite. We'll visit John T on the weekend.
Love and hugs to everyone

Safe travels -- you'll be passing not to terribly far away from me! about
an hour north of Toledo, OH!
Chicago is a great city -- my DS#2 lives there! If you see him, tell him I
miss him! :-)

Good to hear from you, Bronnie! I'm glad your ankle is healing well --
be careful and have a wonderful time. :)

So today is the long day from Rapid City to LaCrosse! Enjoy the trip
across SD and southern MN. You're ahead of the peak fall colors for the
most part, but the view as you drop into the Mississippi River Valley
toward LaCrosse is beautiful at any time of the year -- I hope there is
enough daylight to see it. Sorry I forgot to e-mail about a meet-up near
Rochester, but I suspect you won't have a lot of time.
