I do that and it helps but it's still a time consuming, tedious job.

The best paper I have found is Carol Doak's. It is easy to remove and
sturdy enough to use. You can find it at her website, your LQS or
many places online.

I agree - I have some of That Patchwork Place's and my printer hates it.

I have some of this -- Santa or the Babies got it for me a few years
ago :-). Problem is, when you are making as many blocks as I am, you
need a LOT of it and that starts to cost more $$ than I want to spend.
I use it when I am doing single PP blocks for }, etc.

I use Doctor examining table paper. Real cheap. I print off the
pattern onto 1 sheet of regular paper. I fold the examining table paper
so that there are several layers. Lay the paper pattern on top and sew
on the lines without thread to perferate the paper and make several
copies of the pattern.
Paper is easily torn out. Not so much a Pita as regular paper.
