Wonderful! You did a great job putting those together! (Although I do
not envy you the task of quilting the satin-taffeta. And remember that
simply quilting it will make it a bit smaller, regardless of which
batting you use.)

I didn't think of that! That should improve how the border drapes over the
edge of the bed, with the patchwork tailored to the top of the mattress.

Great job!
While yes, the taffeta-satin quilt pics are a little...um...bad ;-) now
at least we have an idea of what you're are talking about. I really
love your choice of colors on both quilts.
