Have you asked if they send samples? Lots of the online places do.

I wonder if I'll ever start buying fabric on line. The "browse factor" is
huge for me -- I'm more tempted by something I can handle and compare in the
shop than I am by lovely pictures on the Internet.

you wont go wrong ordering green batiks.
they all work together, heck, all batiks work together.

For that matter, all greens work together! DH and I were driving through a
rural area - with lots of hills and trees - not long ago, and I commented on
how many different greens we could see. There were trees, of course, along
with corn, beans, grass, farm pastures, etc., and while I didn't see any
lime, the greens ranged from light to dark and were beautiful together!

You know, that is the absolute truth. Thanks for pointing that out. The
other day my SO and I were floating in the local swimming pool and noticed
how many different shades of green surrounded us.
