Yesterday I read on this computer news where some Anglo-Saxon treasure had
been uncovered over there. Can you tell us anything about it?
Was it in the N, S, E, W? All I saw on the puter was that it had been
uncovered. I was wondering if it had my Family Crest on it somewhere and
maybe I need to come claim it! Was it in an old castle tunnel? For the
excitement, I would love to be in on such a find!!!

Hi Barbara,
Looks like it was found in a field Staffordshire - sort of the middle of
England.
These links tell you more:

After you've looked at the recent find you might like to take a look at:
http://www.wuffings.co.uk/MySHPages/SHPage.html
Its the treasure trove local to me and previously the biggest one found
and probably still the most important as it is reputed to be royal. Just
think, if you can find your crest here, you will be royalty!
Dr Sam Newton, whose site it is, is a top authority.
I have always thought that one day I will use it as quilt inspiration!
